About Me

A native Arkansan, I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 2003. My experience includes work in inpatient and outpatient programs, hospital settings and organizational development. Over the years, I have found that most of the challenges people face with their mental health—whether it’s anxiety, depression, difficulty in relationships, or struggles with self-esteem—are often connected to past experiences of stress or trauma which is what led me to pursue specialized training in a trauma treatment approach called Somatic Experiencing which I completed in 2022. I now work in private practice and am licensed in both Arkansas and Illinois where I provide telehealth to clients throughout both states. My work specializes in helping people overcome anxiety and trauma.

Outside of my work, I love making art, doing house projects and staying active outdoors whether it’s hiking, biking or on adventures with my golden retriever, Louie. I enjoy spending time with my partner, family & friends and split my time between Chicago and Little Rock— to stay connected to two places that I love.
