My Approach

Helping You Feel Grounded, Present, and Empowered

I tailor my approach to best meet your needs and what feels right to you. I often draw from Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support both the body and the mind in healing. SE helps release the stress and tension that can linger in the body after difficult experiences, so you can feel calmer and more at ease. CBT focuses on shifting unhelpful thought patterns that fuel worry, self-doubt, or feeling stuck. Together, these approaches create space for more clarity, confidence, and peace in daily life.

Building Communication and Emotional Safety

Relationships often bring both deep fulfillment and real challenges. When communication breaks down or past hurts linger, it can leave partners feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck in repeating patterns.

In couples therapy, I create a supportive space where both partners can slow down, feel heard, and understand what’s happening beneath the surface of conflict. Drawing from Somatic Experiencing, we pay attention to how stress and emotional patterns show up in the body — helping each partner stay more grounded and present during difficult conversations.

Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and practical communication strategies, couples learn to identify unhelpful thought patterns, reduce reactivity, and rebuild trust and closeness.

Whether you’re navigating ongoing tension, life transitions, or simply want to strengthen your connection, therapy can help you rediscover safety, empathy, and partnership — together.
